Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

I work with individuals and families in the greater Austin, Texas area to help protect themselves and their loved ones while securing their legacies through estate planning. I like to keep this process as simple as possible and leave clients with peace of mind.

  • Who do you trust to make medical decisions for you if you are incapacitated?
  • Who do you trust to care for your children in case of incapacity or death?
  • Who do you trust to make financial decisions for you and your loved ones?
  • What is the value of your estate, and how you would you like your assets to be managed and distributed upon your incapacity and death?

I offer flat fee estate plans so that clients know exactly how much they will pay up front. The cost of a will-based plan is generally less expensive than a trust-based plan, because of the time involved. Depending on complexity, there might be additional fees and some work might need to billed on an hourly  basis.

A will-based plan starts at $1,800 for an individual and $2,400 for a married couple. A trust-based plan starts at $3,600 for an individual and $4,200 for a married couple.

I am a solo practice attorney and I meet and communicate with my clients directly, I draft their estate plans myself, and I do not outsource any of this important legal work. You will have access to me every step of the way and will not have to deal with an assistant or AI chatbot.

If you find yourself needing estate planning services in a hurry or on a short timeline, I try to accommodate this. Expedited work may result in a higher fee.
