I create custom estate plans that are tailored to my clients' unique needs and desires to ensure that their wishes are met upon incapacity and death. 

The process to create or update your estate plan involves:

1. An initial call to discuss your unique situation and needs;
2. An estate planning worksheet for you to complete;
3. An estate plan design meeting; 
4. A review of your estate plan drafts; and
5. An estate plan signing ceremony.

For your convenience, we can meet over video teleconference, at my office, or at another location if convenient. The signing ceremony must be in person. If you are outside the greater Austin metropolitan area, I can still assist you in drafting your estate plan, but you will need to get your own notary and witnesses to execute the documents. Once the signing ceremony is complete, you'll leave with a fully executed estate plan and I will provide PDF copies for your records and mine.

Depending on your goals and preferences, I offer both trust-based and will-based estate plans. Some of the documents commonly included are:

• Revocable Living Trust
• Last Will and Testament
• Guardianship documents to appoint someone to care for your children and yourself in case of incapacity
• Durable Financial Power of Attorney to appoint an agent to make financial decisions for you
• Medical Power of Attorney to appoint an agent to make medical decisions for you during periods of incapacity
• Advanced Medical Directive (Living Will) to indicate whether you want to be kept on artificial life support
• HIPAA Authorization to share your health information with your trusted agents
• Appointment for Disposition of Remains to appoint an agent to take responsibility for your cremation or burial
• Deed transfer to your trust or a Transfer on Death Deed
